1) VISITING RULES
By purchasing entrance tickets, you fully accept the provisions included in the regulation below:
GENERAL RULES FOR VISITING TERRE BORROMEO SITES
· Access to the Terre Borromeo sites is permitted up to half an hour before the site closeure.
· At the entrance to each site it is mandatory to show the access ticket. The lack of an entrance ticket will not give the right to entry.
· The entrance ticket must be kept for the entire duration of the visit and shown if requested by Terre Borromeo staff.
· The visit routes are established to guarantee the safety of visitors and the protection of the works and places. To facilitate the flow of the public it is necessary not to leave the visit routes and not to overcome the barriers provided. The visit routes can be varied at the discretion of the management of Terre Borromeo in order to guarantee what written above.
· The visit routes have been designed to enhance the places and avoid overcrowding. It is therefore mandatory to respect the disclosure times and not exceed other groups, causing an obstacle.
· All visitors must behave respectfully of the places visited. Groups must remain together during the visit.
· All visitors must wear clothing appropriate to the places visited. Access in ceremonial clothes will not be permitted.
· Sound amplification systems are not permitted in respect of other people's visits.
· Groups of more than 6 people, including the guide, are required to wear earphones (whisper) that allow the guides to keep the tone of their voices low.
· It is forbidden to use laser pointers.
· It is forbidden to display material that obstructs visibility to other visitors or that interferes with emergency signs or that, in any case, obstructs escape routes.
· Access to the Terre Borromeo sites is permitted for cultural enjoyment purposes only and access for commercial purposes is excluded. Photographic, cinematographic and television recordings are permitted only after prior authorization has been issued by Terre Borromeo. Obtaining the authorization allows the exercise of these activities within the limits and methods established by the authorization itself.
SPECIAL RULES FOR VISITING THE PALACE AND GARDEN OF ISOLA BELLA
Before entering the exhibition areas at the Palazzo di Isola Bella, backpacks, bags, umbrellas and other bulky objects must be left in the cloakroom. The deposit is free.
The visiting route includes access to the Palace and then to the Garden. It is not possible to reverse the order of visits.
An elevator is available for visitors with motor disabilities which allows access to the first floor of the Palace. To use this lift, it is necessary to contact the museum operators.
The visit inside the Palazzo di Isola Bella can last a maximum of 60 minutes including the Berthier Wing.
The visit to the garden does not have a pre-established duration but must end, at most, one hour after the last entry to the Palace.
On days of maximum attendance, subject to authorization from the museum operators, it will be possible not to visit the Berthier Wing. In this case the overall visit to the Palace must have a maximum duration of 45 minutes and it will not be allowed to return to the Berthier Wing at a later time.
Visitors and guides are required to follow the instructions expressed in this document. Security personnel are authorized to intervene and remove those who, with their behavior, endanger the safety of people, places and works of art.
The following behaviors are prohibited:
· Touch the works of art or bring objects near that could damage them;
· Lean on the bases of the sculptures and the walls;
· Sit on sofas and armchairs;
· Running in museum environments;
· Use trekking sticks;
· Consume food and drinks in the exhibition areas and gardens;
· Introduce liquids except for the LAGs (liquids, aerosols and gels) for medical purposes;
· Smoking (the ban also includes electronic cigarettes);
· Photographing with the use of flash; take photographs or make videos with selfie sticks, stands and professional equipment of any kind;
· Write or deface the walls;
· Abandon papers, bottles, chewing gum or other waste;
· Bring knives and/or metal tools of various kinds into the museum; Bring in any type of firearm and/or dangerous material. Entry to armed visitors (even those with a regular firearms license) is also prohibited; further different conditions must be previously communicated and possibly authorized by the Management;
· Introduce animals, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind, service dogs to assist the disabled and pets, whose support for therapeutic treatments (pet therapy) is certified with certifications issued by doctors of public health facilities;
· Introduce drones and similar devices;
· Introduce strollers;
· Lean over parapets;

Visitors and guides are required to follow the instructions expressed in this document. Security personnel are authorized to intervene and remove those who, with their behavior, endanger the safety of people, places and works of art.

Visitors and guides are required to follow the instructions expressed in this document. Security personnel are authorized to intervene and remove those who, with their behavior, endanger the safety of people.
The following behaviors are prohibited:
· Feed the animals;
· Disturb animals;
· Throw objects to animals;
· Go beyond fences;
· Consume food or drinks outside the picnic areas and refreshment points in the Park;
· Exit the walkways;
· Abandon papers, bottles, chewing gum or other waste;
· Bring knives and/or metal tools of various kinds into the museum; Bring in any type of firearm and/or dangerous material. Entry to armed visitors (even those with a regular firearms license) is also prohibited; further different conditions must be previously communicated and possibly authorized by the Management;
· Introduce drones and similar devices;
· Lean over parapets;
Finally, it is specified that entry to dogs is permitted only with a muzzle.
In the area called "Fattoria", entry to dogs is prohibited.
2) TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE
TRANSPORT
The transport service is managed by third-party companies.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Transfer by taxi boat as per the chosen route.
TYPE OF TRANSPORT
For individuals the service is shared. For groups and schools the service is on a boat with exclusive use.
PLACE OF EMBARKMENT
The embarkment in Stresa takes place in Piazza Marconi in front of the church, near a red pier with Consorzio Motoscafisti Associati signs.
TIMES
For individuals: departures are scheduled every half hour, starting at approximately 9.30 am. It is not necessary to communicate your arrival to the carrier in advance. The end of the service is expected no later than 6.00 pm.
VALIDITY OF THE TITLE FOR TRANSPORT
The transport ticket is valid for a single day. In case of non-use it is not refundable.
RATES DETAILS
· Individual rates:
o Adults: full rate
o Kids aged 6 to 15 years: reduced rate
o Children under 6 years: free (they do not require a transport ticket)
· Group rate
· School rate
LANDING TAX
The Municipality of Stresa, for the 2025 season, has defined a landing tax of €0.50 per person for each island. This tax must be paid upon embarkment.
REFUNDS
In case of non-use, transport tickets are not refundable.
PASSENGERS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
The transport service could present critical issues for passengers with reduced mobility.
It is recommended to contact the carrier in advance at the email address info@stresatours.com for any clarifications.
NOTES ON THE TRANSPORT SERVICE
As soon as the purchase is completed you will receive the transport ticket.
The transport ticket must be presented at boarding and must be kept until the completion of the service.
FORCE MAJEURE
The transport service is guaranteed except for force majeure events.
Such events include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions that compromise safe navigation.
In such circumstances, the carrier reserves the right to suspend or limit transfers.
