In the Wild Heart of Piedmont

World Animal Day

A fascinating journey into the wild animals of Piedmont, to discover up close the species that inhabit our area and understand how important it is to protect them. On the occasion of World Animal Day, the Educational Classroom of Parco Pallavicino will be transformed into an interactive space dedicated to local biodiversity. The Park’s biologist will guide children and families on a discovery journey designed to bring adults and youngsters closer to Piedmont’s wildlife, explaining its characteristics, habits and adaptations. Through images, natural specimens and in-depth materials, participants will be able to learn more about the species found in the area, understand the main challenges related to their conservation, and discover the projects and initiatives that help protect them. And the experience won’t stop at theory. During the meeting, it will be possible to observe some live animals up close—a special moment that will allow children to approach the wild world with respect and curiosity, ask questions, and discover many interesting facts about the behavior and habitat of these species.
