Six appointments in Terre Borromeo destinations on Lake Maggiore within the Stresa Festival program, from July 17 to September 6. Among the novelties, Rocca di Angera joins Isola Bella and Isola Madre as a location for concerts and the possibility to combine an exclusive aperitif or dinner before the musical evening begins.
For the first time in history, the Castelli di Cannero on the Piedmont shore near the Swiss border will open to the public on Saturday, June 28th, following an extensive restoration project spanning several years. This ambitious undertaking by the Borromeo family has transformed the 15th century lakeside fortress into a "museum of itself," bringing to life a slice of regional history and significant national events. The new multimedia museum enriches the cultural offerings of the Terre Borromeo circuit and Lake Maggiore with a unique blend of history, architecture, and landscape.
Please be advised that on Sunday, August 31st and Friday, September 12th, 2025, Rocca di Angera will close early for a private event. Ticket office closure and last entry at 3:30 PM, castle closure at 4:30 PM.
