Senior Gardener

In an exceptionally fascinating environment rich in botanical and natural history, we are seeking experienced gardeners capable of managing all aspects of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of century-old and ornamental plants in the gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre in Stresa, on Lake Maggiore.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the company’s Head Gardener, the candidate will be personally responsible for specific areas such as tropical, greenhouse, and exotic plants, as well as many other botanical species.
Strong teamwork skills are essential.
The candidate should be open to professional growth and willing to take on internal responsibilities, demonstrating keen observation skills and an interest in botanical sciences.
Previous experience in the use of gardening equipment, possession of valid equipment operation and phytosanitary certificates, and a background in prestigious gardens with high visitor attendance are preferred.
A fixed-term contract for 2025 is offered, with the prospect of permanent employment.
