Gardener

In an exceptionally fascinating environment rich in botanical and natural history, we are seeking gardeners, including junior profiles, for all aspects of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of century-old and ornamental plants in the gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre in Stresa, on Lake Maggiore.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the company’s Head Gardener, the candidate will work alongside experienced teams and will be responsible for planting, transplanting, repotting, and caring for plants; pruning shrubs and herbaceous species; fertilizing and applying treatments; and operating sector-specific systems and equipment.
Teamwork skills are essential.
We are looking for candidates motivated to grow professionally, with a diploma from an Agricultural Technical Institute or an equivalent qualification, and a genuine passion for botanical sciences.
Previous training in the use of all relevant tools, including valid equipment and phytosanitary certificates, as well as prior experience in ornamental horticulture or historic gardens, will be considered an asset.
A fixed-term contract for 2025 is offered, with the prospect of permanent employment.
