Whistleblowing

SAG Srl has implemented a specific procedure for managing internal reports, in compliance with the legislative provisions introduced on the topic of “whistleblowing” by Legislative Decree no. 24 of March 10, 2023 (Implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of October 23, 2019).

The term whistleblower (from the English: to blow the whistle) generally refers to a person who becomes aware of potentially unlawful acts or facts, violations of national or European Union regulations that harm the public interest or the integrity of public administration or private entities. This information is typically discovered within a public or private workplace context, and the individual decides to report these matters using the company’s dedicated, confidential, and independent internal channels.

SAG Srl has adopted a system designed to safeguard the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity and protect them from retaliatory, unfair, or discriminatory conduct arising from the report. The company encourages employees and collaborators to report facts or behaviors they become aware of that may constitute violations of the regulations governing the core activities performed by SAG Srl.

The provisions of Legislative Decree no. 24/2023, however, do not apply to “disputes, claims, or requests linked to a personal interest of the reporting individual that exclusively concern their individual employment relationship or public employment, or matters relating to their work relationship with hierarchically superior figures.”

For submitting and managing reports, SAG Srl has implemented a dedicated IT platform managed by autonomous and independent structures.

If you wish to submit a report to SAG Srl, access the platform here.
