A project that has lasted 3 months and has seen a number of teams from Acrobatica (formerly EdiliziAcrobatica) involved on two of the most precious palazzos of Italy’s cultural historical heritage on the Isole Borromee and has contributed to conserving its splendour for future times.
Starting from November last year, the acrobatic teams of operators on ropes have worked on both Borromeo palazzos, on Isola Madre and Isola Bella. In particular, on Isola Madre, they were responsible for “the restoration of over 1000 m2 of the curved “coppo” tile roof through the removal and upgrading of the existing tiles, the overhauling of the underlying wooden framework and the repositioning of tiles”. On Isola Bella, on the other hand, they operated suspended 25m above the ground, positioning fire protection sensors inside the central room of the palazzo with its splendid dome on top.
