Stresa Festival, on the Isole Borromee and at Rocca di Angera evenings of music and magic with refined taste

Six appointments in Terre Borromeo destinations on Lake Maggiore within the Stresa Festival program, from July 17 to September 6. Among the novelties, Rocca di Angera joins Isola Bella and Isola Madre as a location for concerts and the possibility to combine an exclusive aperitif or dinner before the musical evening begins.

 

July 15, 2025 - The collaboration between Terre Borromeo and Stresa Festival is renewed, starting July 17 with the 64th edition. A musical appointment that unites until September 6 the culture and poetry of an international artistic program with the magic of an extraordinarily beautiful setting on Lake Maggiore. This year the experience will be even more engaging thanks to the possibility of enjoying a cocktail or savoring an exclusive dinner before the concert at Terre Borromeo sites, Isola Bella and Rocca di Angera.

 

Protagonists of this edition are the Isole Borromee and this year also Rocca di Angera, on the Lombard side of the lake. Six concerts, open air or in the palace halls: it begins Thursday July 17 at 9:30 PM on Isola Bella where the traditional Irish music of Irish Traditional Music will spread its notes in the piazzale delle Armi. By reservation, it will be possible to dine before the concert at the exclusive ristorante Delfino using the boat departing at 6:45 PM from the La Palma hotel pier. Available to Delfino guests, two fixed menus with land or lake specialties, at a special price (45 euros).

 

Friday July 18 at 9 PM the evocative Loggia del Cashmere on Isola Madre welcomes the Pacific Quintet with The Fantastic Five. A small kingdom of nature, overlooked by Palazzo Borromeo, where the emotion of music is enhanced by the enchanting exotic setting.

 

Wednesday July 23 at 9 PM we return to Isola Bella: Radici takes the stage, the concert by young Italian pianist and composer Simone Locarni who will perform with a formation composed of four other musicians. The evening is preceded, for those who wish, by an aperitif at ristorante Delfino by reservation (cost 18 euros, boat departing at 6:45 PM from the La Palma hotel pier). The same formula will be replicated Friday July 25 on the occasion of the Passion concert with Richard Galliano on accordion and Simone Locarni as opening act on piano.

 

Rocca di Angera, new entry among the Terre Borromeo locations of this Stresa Festival edition, will host the musical evening on Wednesday August 20 at 8 PM with Ensemble Sjaella in Head Heart. Before the concert, the audience will be able to relax with an aperitif on the panoramic terrace of Caffetteria Belvedere with lake view.

 

At Terre Borromeo sites, the last date of the Stresa Festival program is Thursday August 28 at 8:30 PM with Solo Marimba and Simone Rubino in the elegant setting of Salone Nuovo inside Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Bella. Here Rubino brings the energy of percussion presenting a baroque repertoire. Sunset aperitif before the concert, at ristorante Delfino.
