ROCCA DI ANGERA

Visit Rules

By purchasing admission tickets, visitors fully accept the provisions contained in these regulations, which visitors and guides are required to comply with. Security staff are authorised to intervene and remove anyone whose behaviour endangers the safety of people, sites or works of art.

General Rules for Visiting Terre Borromeo Sites

Access to Terre Borromeo sites is permitted up to thirty minutes before the site closes.

At the entrance to each site, visitors are required to show their admission ticket. Failure to present an admission ticket will result in denied entry.

The visit routes are established to ensure visitor safety and the protection of the artworks and sites. To ensure a smooth flow of visitors, it is necessary to remain on the designated visit routes and not to cross the barriers in place. Visit routes may be changed at the discretion of the Terre Borromeo Management in order to ensure the above.

The visit routes have been designed to enhance the sites and prevent overcrowding. Visitors are therefore required to respect the scheduled explanation times and must not overtake other groups or cause obstruction.

All visitors must behave respectfully towards the sites visited. Groups must remain together throughout the visit.

All visitors must wear clothing appropriate to the sites visited. Access in ceremonial attire will not be permitted.

Sound amplification systems are not allowed, out of respect for other visitors.

Groups of more than 6 people, including the guide, are required to use earphones, or whisper systems, allowing guides to keep their voices low.

The use of laser pointers is prohibited.

It is prohibited to display any material that obstructs visibility for other visitors, interferes with emergency signage or, in any way, obstructs escape routes.

Access to Terre Borromeo sites is permitted solely for cultural purposes. Access for commercial purposes is not permitted. Photography, filming and television shooting are permitted only with prior authorisation from Terre Borromeo. Obtaining authorisation allows such activities to be carried out only within the limits and in the manner established by the authorisation itself.
