Downhill from the Mottarone, the Bar Stazione is the crossroads where hikers, cyclists and families enjoying the pleasures of a day in the mountains meet. The building that hosts it was once the last-but-one station on the Stresa-Mottarone railway. Light but tasty dishes are served in a completely renovated, modern space: from sandwiches to salads using products typical of the territory, such as cheeses from the hills of Lake Orta and with milk pasteurized daily, but also aperitifs or delicious cakes to accompany the organic teas prepared with medicinal herbs grown in the Valle Cannobina. In the warm season and on sunny days, you can have lunch outdoors at the benches, or else a mixed grill, enjoying the panorama of the surrounding lakes.
