At the foot of the staircase of Palazzo Borromeo, in the village of Isola Bella, the historic Caffè Lago welcomes visitors in an atmosphere of pleasant relaxation. The interiors are spacious, with an informal style defined by exposed brick walls and wooden beams; outside, a large veranda overlooks the lake directly, offering a privileged view of the Borromean Gulf.
The menu offers something for every taste and every moment of the day: from breakfast to lunch, from a quick snack to an aperitif. Highlights include traditional Italian dishes, fresh garden salads, platters featuring local ingredients, gourmet sandwiches, pizza, and a selection of cakes and desserts that are hard to resist.
