Curiosity

The reproduction of this species is particularly complex: 30 days of pregnancy in the uterus, 280 days in the pouch, but nursing lasts almost a year and a half and for a certain period the milk is shared between the young kangaroo that has left the pouch and the new baby developing inside it. Adults weigh from 15 to 20 kg. Specimens that escaped from British parks more than 50 years ago have adapted well, forming real communities, of which the one on the Isle of Man is the most important.
