Curiosity

The goat is a polygastric ruminant, meaning it has multiple stomachs, one of which is the rumen: its feeding behavior involves quickly ingesting food to chew it later in a quiet place. It therefore has a digestive system divided into four consecutive cavities, of which only the last one is similar to the stomach of monogastric animals.
